On a scale of 1 to 5, (with 1 being NOT proficient and 5 being EXTREMELY

How do you find this information?

  1. The receipt provided when you purchased the computer should have the Make and Model of the computer and information about the hardware.
  2. Click on My Computer. This is where you will find the Total Hard Drive space and Free Space (usually for local disk C:) .                   
  3. Click on System Information. This is where you will find the Operating System, Processor, and Physical Memory.
  4. The information provided by your Service Provider when you signed up for Internet access and an email account.
